Blogging my way thin...3 days worth :)

Well the first day of my new discovery I did really well. Slim fast bar for breakfast, grilled chicken salad for lunch and veggie soup for dinner :)

2nd day, special K cereal, chicken sandwich from Chick Fila for lunch and a chicken breast for dinner with fruit.

3rd day was special K cereal, then greek cracker pizza for lunch, and BBQ plate for dinner. This was bad food day :(...but it's ok onward I go, lol! Still not to bad.

For the kicker!!! I have cut out soft drinks all together! Yeah for me!

Today we had a family breakfast at Golden Coral so I did have a little of eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and pancakes LMBO...but honest it was a small portion...just a few bites of each thing SO I'm not upset about it!

Lunch will be fruits and veggies and same for dinner!

Now enough boring menu info :)

God is good. I'm trying to cut down portions and be careful what I put in my body....this is hard for me.

I'm joining the Rush next week and I will go everyday...mostly at lunch or afterwork and take Dawson to the daycare with me. I can't get motivated during the winter to work out at home, but going to the gym does motivate me.

Jerry wants me to start Atkins again so i can loose 40lbs quick, but I don't think I can be that strict on myself right now....

I think....well I know I have a lot of issues! I don't binge, or snack, but I look forward to meals for enjoyment. For fun with family or enjoyment alone while watching a movie for dinner. Then I think well when Jerry is home I won't be that way, but when he gets home it's even more fun making plans for what to cook or where to go out to eat! I have lots of girlfriends who can eat what I do and not have an ounce of extra weight, but that's not me :(

Then I know people could say well get other habits or hobbies, etc....but we do! We ride horses, we play sports, we dance...etc! So it's all about me having to eat healthy and help my sluggish metabolism :) I think regular exercise, no soft drinks and light on the carbs has to become my way of life.

I'm not giving up, I'm just getting started! Meanwhile I'm going to start blogging about life and politics also to make this blog a little more interesting!
